Hello &
Welcome

Thanks for visiting. We’re glad you’re here.
I usually walk into a space and know immediately what it’s supposed to be; what it wants to be. There are lovely people living there with their belongings, their children, maybe a pet or two.  Perhaps some of their belongings they don’t like anymore, some they love, and others that got passed down from generation to generation. I have a lot of things to clue me in on how a home is lived in as well as what the home itself says…the architecture, the plot of land it rests on, how the light streams in the windows. All of those things tell me a story which leads me to a beautiful ending.

I think what inspires me more than a space itself, are the people within it. I love hearing my clients’ life stories and what makes them uniquely them. I really want to know and understand each person I work with. For me this is not just a job, it’s something that I’m blessed to be able to do.

My personal aesthetic is clean and classic with vintage touches. I almost always start by adding millwork to a space to create architectural interest. I want a room to look as good naked as it does dressed. It’s also the perfect jumping off point to add any style to a room.

I’m a wife and mother, so I know how important it is for a space to be practical. I believe that beauty and function should and can go hand in hand.

I got my start in this business by doing specialty paint finishes and furniture re-upholstery. My hobbies are, I believe, an extension of design. Like painting and sewing, I love to bake and play the piano. All of these evoke an emotion. I’ve always had a need to create something with my hands, but perhaps it’s really the emotion that I’m after.
